Richard B. Rose, born and raised in New York City, attended the University of Denver for both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees. In undergraduate school, Mr. Rose was admitted to Pi Gamma Mu, the social sciences honor society. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado in 1978, and subsequently, served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert P. Fullerton, a judge of the Denver District Court. Mr. Rose joined the Sawaya Law Firm, (now Sawaya & Rose, P.C.), in 1979. He is Vice President of the firm and manages the Creditor's Rights/Collections Department of the Firm.

Mr. Rose has extensive experience in trial preparation, trial presentation, and the preparation and argument of appeals in the Colorado and Federal appellate courts. Mr. Rose is a member of the bars of the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He is a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. His practice emphasizes creditors rights and personal injury law.
